National Homeschool Day of Prayer

What's it about?

Where It Began

The National Homeschool Day of Prayer started in 2018 and is held every year on the first Friday of November. Homeschool families across the country now join in.

Why We Pray

It’s a day to thank God for the children He’s entrusted to us and for the freedom to teach them at home. We also ask for guidance, care for our families, and continued freedom to homeschool for generations to come.

How We Gather in Montana

Join us at the Capitol in Helena at 1:00 p.m., or pray in your own home, with your co-op, or with homeschool friends. However you gather, you’re joining families across Montana and beyond.

Pray With Us: Free Day of Prayer Handout

Make the National Homeschool Day of Prayer part of your family’s day. Our one-page handout gives you prayer prompts and Bible verses to guide your time together, whether you’re at your kitchen table, with your co-op, or gathered with friends.

Simple to use: Print it, pick a prompt, and pray together as a family.
Made for sharing: Hand copies out at your co-op or homeschool group.
Good any day: Use it on the first Friday of November or any time you want to pray for the homeschool community.
