Founded to serve Montana families through advocacy, encouragement, and connection, Homeschool Montana is committed to preserving the right of parents to direct their children’s education. We believe that home education is parent-directed, home-based, and privately funded, and we work to ensure that freedom remains strong for generations to come.
Homeschool Montana is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors—families who have walked the homeschooling journey themselves. Alongside many dedicated volunteers, we provide resources, encouragement, and community for parents who have chosen to educate their children at home.
Our bi-annual Montana Homeschool Convention provides much of the financial support for our mission. But as homeschooling continues to grow in Montana, so do our responsibilities.
